Interpret this was a two-part education program created by Nadia Odlum for Rivus, the 23rd Biennale of Sydney. Engaging intergenerational audiences on Family Day, the workshop centred on a series of games that bridged drawing and dancing, to create new methods of communication via symbols and the body.
In each session, Nadia was joined by an invited contemporary dancer. At the end of the session the dancer performed an improvised piece in response to the creations of the group. The first dancer was Ryuchi Fujimura and the second was Cynthia Florek.
