This present moment, this moving world
Two way mirrored glass, steel, concrete, 194 x 190 x 40 cm
This work considers the relationship between light and time, both in a singular present moment and over the course of the solar day. As the light changes, the viewer may engage in a playful interplay with reflections, transparency and perception.
This work was presented at Sculpture by the Sea, 2019. Nadia Odlum received the Helen Lempriere Scholarship in the emerging artist category. The work also received funding from UNSW and was sponsored by Sydney Glass. Fabrication was done by Oliver Tanner Art and Design.
This work is currently on display at Casula Powerhouse in the exhibition 'Liverpool Sculpture Walk'.
