All possible combinations was commissioned by Kaldor Public Art Projects for the Kaldor Studio, a dedicated education and learning space in the exhibition Making art public: 50 years of Kaldor Public Art Projects at the Art Gallery of NSW. The final of three artist takeovers of this space, Nadia Odlum's project appeared from 23 December - 16 February 2020.
Featuring an interactive explosion of colours and shapes, this work responded to Sol LeWitt’s two Kaldor Public Art Projects. With large wooden blocks in vibrant colours, angled mirrors and a wiggly black line the project invited audiences to engage and play in a puzzle with endless solutions.
The project also featured weekly workshops making artists' books, facilitated by Nadia Odlum. Using only coloured paper, the workshops provided another way for visitors to explore all possible combinations of the six colours. Participants could stamp their book with an official Kaldor Studio Library stamp, creating a growing archive of artists' books.
